An inlet pressure that is too high or fluctuating, as well as foreign matter in the water sample, can stress the measuring cell, lead to distorted readings and, in the worst case, cause a device failure.<\/p>\n<p>This is exactly where the upstream pressure regulator comes in: it reduces the inlet pressure of the water sample to a safe, constant level and holds back foreign matter before it reaches the measuring chamber. <strong>This protects your analyser from pressure surges and contamination, ensures stable measuring conditions and extends the device\u2019s service life.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"color: #0069b3\">What is the pressure regulator with gauge?<\/h3>\n<p>The pressure regulator with mounting bracket and filter incl. gauge is designed for the SYCON series and is installed upstream of the analyser. It combines three functions in one component: a pressure reducer with a control range of 0 to 4 bar, an integrated filter against foreign matter and a gauge for direct monitoring of the set pressure. The hose connection has an outer diameter of 6 mm; the supplied mounting bracket allows clean, fixed installation.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"color: #0069b3\">How does it work?<\/h3>\n<p>The pressure regulator is installed between the water tapping point and the analyser. It lowers the incoming pressure of the water sample to the desired value, which can be read at any time on the integrated gauge.
