Como sustituto org\u00e1nico de la hidracina, la DEHA liga el ox\u00edgeno disuelto en el agua de alimentaci\u00f3n y evita as\u00ed eficazmente la corrosi\u00f3n en calderas de vapor, tuber\u00edas e intercambiadores de calor. A diferencia de la hidracina, el DEHA no es cancer\u00edgeno, por lo que es la opci\u00f3n preferida para los sistemas de calderas modernos.  <\/p>\n<p><strong>La dosificaci\u00f3n t\u00edpica oscila entre 0,1 y 0,5 mg\/l de DEHA<\/strong>, en funci\u00f3n del contenido de ox\u00edgeno del agua de alimentaci\u00f3n y de las condiciones espec\u00edficas de funcionamiento. El control regular de la concentraci\u00f3n de DEHA es esencial para garantizar una protecci\u00f3n adecuada contra la corrosi\u00f3n, por un lado, y para evitar la sobredosificaci\u00f3n, por otro. Unos valores de DEHA demasiado bajos provocan una protecci\u00f3n insuficiente contra la corrosi\u00f3n, mientras que unas concentraciones demasiado altas son econ\u00f3micamente ineficaces y pueden afectar al valor de pH del agua de la caldera.  <\/p>\n<p>El DEHA reacciona con el ox\u00edgeno y forma \u00e1cido ac\u00e9tico y nitr\u00f3geno como productos de reacci\u00f3n. Esta reacci\u00f3n tiene lugar a bajas temperaturas y se acelera a temperaturas m\u00e1s altas, lo que hace que el DEHA sea especialmente adecuado para calderas de baja presi\u00f3n y sistemas de agua caliente. <\/p>\n<h3>\u00bfC\u00f3mo funciona el conjunto de pruebas?<\/h3>\n<p>El kit de ensayo CALDUR\u00ae DEHA &#8211; colorim\u00e9trico funciona seg\u00fan el m\u00e9todo probado de la ferrozina. El DEHA reduce los iones de hierro trivalentes (Fe\u00b3\u207a) a iones de hierro divalentes (Fe\u00b2\u207a), que forman un complejo de color violeta con el reactivo de ferrozina. La intensidad del color es directamente proporcional a la concentraci\u00f3n de DEHA en la muestra de agua.  <\/p>\n<p>Tras a\u00f1adir dos reactivos a la muestra de agua, se desarrolla un color violeta caracter\u00edstico en 5 minutos. El valor medido se determina por comparaci\u00f3n directa del color con una carta de colores de 6 etapas suministrada.
