En tant que substitut organique de l&rsquo;hydrazine, le DEHA lie l&rsquo;oxyg\u00e8ne dissous dans l&rsquo;eau d&rsquo;alimentation et emp\u00eache ainsi efficacement la corrosion dans les chaudi\u00e8res, les tuyauteries et les \u00e9changeurs de chaleur. Contrairement \u00e0 l&rsquo;hydrazine, le DEHA n&rsquo;est pas canc\u00e9rig\u00e8ne et constitue donc le choix privil\u00e9gi\u00e9 pour les chaudi\u00e8res modernes.  <\/p>\n<p><strong>Le dosage typique se situe entre 0,1 et 0,5 mg\/l de DEHA<\/strong>, en fonction de la teneur en oxyg\u00e8ne de l&rsquo;eau d&rsquo;alimentation et des conditions de fonctionnement sp\u00e9cifiques. Une surveillance r\u00e9guli\u00e8re de la concentration en DEHA est essentielle pour garantir une protection suffisante contre la corrosion et \u00e9viter un surdosage. Des valeurs de DEHA trop faibles entra\u00eenent une protection insuffisante contre la corrosion, tandis que des concentrations trop \u00e9lev\u00e9es sont \u00e9conomiquement inefficaces et peuvent affecter le pH de l&rsquo;eau de chaudi\u00e8re.  <\/p>\n<p>Le DEHA r\u00e9agit avec l&rsquo;oxyg\u00e8ne pour former de l&rsquo;acide ac\u00e9tique et de l&rsquo;azote comme produits de r\u00e9action. Cette r\u00e9action se produit d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e0 basse temp\u00e9rature et s&rsquo;acc\u00e9l\u00e8re \u00e0 des temp\u00e9ratures plus \u00e9lev\u00e9es, ce qui rend le DEHA particuli\u00e8rement adapt\u00e9 aux chaudi\u00e8res \u00e0 basse pression et aux syst\u00e8mes d&rsquo;eau chaude. <\/p>\n<h3>Comment fonctionne le kit de test ?<\/h3>\n<p>Le kit d&rsquo;essai CALDUR\u00ae DEHA &#8211; Colorim\u00e9trique fonctionne selon la m\u00e9thode \u00e9prouv\u00e9e de la ferrozine. Le DEHA r\u00e9duit les ions de fer trivalents (Fe\u00b3\u207a) en ions de fer divalents (Fe\u00b2\u207a), qui forment alors un complexe color\u00e9 violet avec le r\u00e9actif ferrozine. L&rsquo;intensit\u00e9 de la coloration est directement proportionnelle \u00e0 la concentration en DEHA dans l&rsquo;\u00e9chantillon d&rsquo;eau.  <\/p>\n<p>Apr\u00e8s l&rsquo;ajout de deux r\u00e9actifs \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9chantillon d&rsquo;eau, une coloration violette caract\u00e9ristique se d\u00e9veloppe en 5 minutes. La valeur mesur\u00e9e est obtenue par comparaison directe des couleurs avec un nuancier \u00e0 6 niveaux fourni.
