The standby circuit (WBS) consists of transmitter and receiver modules. The signals are controlled and evaluated via the central unit, which is connected to the transmitter and receiver chains via adapter cables. A central unit of the standby circuit supports up to 99 modules per escalator side. For longer moving walks, two light curtains (WBS) are used accordingly.
