Transmitter adapter for converting C to E version
Transmitter adapter for conversion from C- to E-Version. Escalators with C-Version automatic restart systems can be modernised with the E-Version. The adapter modules are available for this purpose; they can simply be connected to the already installed adapter cables of the previous version, thus making their replacement unnecessary.

Escalators with C-Version automatic restart systems can be modernised with the E-Version. The adapter modules are available for this purpose; they can simply be connected to the already installed adapter cables of the previous version, thus making their replacement unnecessary. Only the transmitters and receivers of the new version need to be fitted.
Part of the automatic restart system (WBS)
The light curtain is part of the automatic restart system (WBS) for escalators and moving walks: transmitter and receiver modules monitor the presence of persons on the unit in accordance with EN 115 and automatically release the escalator again after an emergency stop. The signals are evaluated by the central unit. The D-Version is designed for escalators from Otis and Kone, the E-Version for ThyssenKrupp and Schindler.
