Transmitter End Module D Version (rev.) is a component of the light curtain system for the restart readiness circuit (WBS) of escalators and moving walkways.
Part of the Restart Readiness Circuit (WBS)
The light curtain is part of the restart readiness circuit (WBS) for escalators and moving walkways: transmitter and receiver modules monitor the presence of people on the unit in accordance with EN 115 and automatically release the escalator again after an emergency stop. The signals are evaluated by the central unit. The D version is designed for escalators from Otis and Kone, the E version for ThyssenKrupp and Schindler.
