The Receiver Adapter Cable E-Version is a component of the light curtain system for the standby restart circuit (WBS) of escalators and moving walkways.
Part of the standby restart circuit (WBS)
The light curtain is part of the standby restart circuit (WBS) for escalators and moving walkways: transmitter and receiver modules monitor the presence of persons on the unit in accordance with EN 115 and automatically release the escalator again after an emergency stop. The signals are evaluated via the central unit. The D-Version is designed for escalators from Otis and Kone, the E-Version for ThyssenKrupp and Schindler.
