Transmitter D-Version (rev.) is a component of the light curtain system for the automatic restart system (WBS) of escalators and moving walks.
Part of the automatic restart system (WBS)
The light curtain is part of the automatic restart system (WBS) for escalators and moving walks: transmitter and receiver modules monitor the presence of persons on the unit in accordance with EN 115 and automatically release the escalator again after an emergency stop. The signals are evaluated by the central unit. The D-Version is designed for escalators from Otis and Kone, the E-Version for ThyssenKrupp and Schindler.
