Part of the automatic restart system (WBS)
The light curtain is part of the automatic restart system (WBS) for escalators and moving walks: in accordance with EN 115, transmitter and receiver modules monitor the presence of people on the unit and automatically release the escalator again after an emergency stop. The signals are evaluated by the central unit. The D-Version is designed for Otis and Kone escalators, the E-Version for ThyssenKrupp and Schindler.
