External service display. The external service display serves to provide an extended view of a central unit’s display. Thanks to the cable, the external service display can be positioned optimally to read the status during a service operation on an escalator.

The external service display serves to provide an extended view of a central unit’s display. Thanks to the cable, the external service display can be positioned optimally to read the status during a service operation on an escalator.
Part of the automatic restart circuit (WBS)
The light curtain is part of the automatic restart circuit (WBS) for escalators and moving walks: transmitter and receiver modules monitor the presence of persons on the unit in accordance with EN 115 and automatically release the escalator again after an emergency stop. The signals are evaluated by the central unit. The D version is designed for escalators from Otis and Kone, the E version for ThyssenKrupp and Schindler.
