The end module completes the transmitter or receiver module chain of the C-version light curtain system.
Part of the Restart Readiness Circuit (WBS)
The light curtain is part of the restart readiness circuit (WBS) for escalators: transmitter and receiver modules monitor the presence of people on the unit in accordance with EN 115 and automatically release the escalator again after an emergency stop. The C version is the predecessor system for escalators from ThyssenKrupp and Schindler.
