Multifunction Signal
The Multifunction Signal consists of 97 RGB LEDs. The LEDs are arranged homogeneously across the entire display area. Each individual LED can display any colour. In addition, the displayed symbols can be animated. The Multifunction Signal can display up to three switchable symbols. For connection to a remote diagnostics system, the Multifunction Signal is available with function monitoring.
Use on escalators and moving walks
Direction indicators from RLS Wacon signal the direction of travel or clearance of the unit to passengers on escalators and moving walks. Depending on the operating direction, it lights up red or green and either blocks or clears entry. Depending on the version, it is installed in the balustrade, a round or square column, or a base. The bright, homogeneous LED illumination remains clearly visible even in ambient light; when de-energised, no symbols are visible. A curved, replaceable front lens and a wide input voltage range ensure robust continuous operation.
