The adapter cable is used to connect the modules of the C-Version light curtain system.
Part of the standby restart circuit (WBS)
The light curtain is part of the standby restart circuit (WBS) for escalators: transmitter and receiver modules monitor the presence of persons on the unit in accordance with EN 115 and automatically release the escalator again after an emergency stop. The C-Version is the predecessor system for escalators from ThyssenKrupp and Schindler.
