The sampling valve is used for the manual withdrawal of water samples directly from a pipe. The valve is opened via the handwheel so that a sample can be filled into a container in a targeted manner through the curved outlet – for example to check water quality or for laboratory analysis. The curved stainless steel outlet allows clean, low-splash filling of the sample containers.
The sampling valve is integrated into the sampling line. For sampling, the handwheel is opened; the water flows through the curved outlet into the sample container. After withdrawal, the valve is closed again. This allows representative samples to be taken at any time for quality control or laboratory analysis.
Before the actual sampling, let the valve flush briefly so that standing water in the pipe does not falsify the result.
