The system separator protects the drinking-water network against backflow when an analyser or a sample cooler is connected to the drinking-water supply. It reliably prevents water from the downstream installation from flowing back into the drinking-water line – thus safeguarding the quality of the drinking water.
As soon as an installation is connected to the public drinking-water network, a suitable protection device for safeguarding the drinking water is required (DIN EN 1717). It ensures that under no circumstances – not even in the event of pressure fluctuations or negative pressure in the network – contaminated water can flow back. The system separator performs exactly this task and thus enables a standard-compliant, safe connection of your measuring equipment.
The type CAa design works with different, non-controllable pressure zones and thus provides reliable backflow protection for the intended application.
