What is it used for?
With the upgrade kit, you can upgrade an existing LIMESBASE device to the more powerful LIMESPLUS – without buying a new one. The kit contains a circuit board that is simply plugged in; no special technical knowledge is required, and the upgrade is reversible at any time.
What LIMESPLUS additionally offers
LIMESPLUS extends the capabilities of LIMESBASE in terms of analysis interval and system control:
- Selectable analysis interval (5 / 10 / 20 / 30 min instead of a fixed 10 min)
- Freely usable input contact (start/stop)
- Connection to an external control system (e.g. control room, reverse osmosis)
- Additional digital input
- Reversible: can be converted back to LIMESBASE by re-plugging the circuit board
Application
Disconnect the device from the power supply, re-plug the supplied circuit board according to the enclosed installation instructions and put the device back into operation – the LIMES then works as a LIMESPLUS. The upgrade can be reversed at any time.
💡 Note
Only carry out work on the electronics when the device is disconnected from the power supply. The exact procedure is described in the installation instructions enclosed with the kit.
